Every breed DNA test comes with a free DNA profile search where we search for the tested horse's sire and dam matches. Any matches found will be listed in your horse's report. If matches are not found, we do keep all DNA on file in case future matches are found.
What do your results include?
You will receive a comprehensive report detailing your horse's various breeds in its lineage, genetic ancestry, breed-specific genetic considerations, unique breed traits, and more. This info comes in handy, whether you're crafting a top-notch training and care plan or just keen to know your horse's roots.
All tested horses undergo a thorough parentage and registry search; we'll include any relevant findings from our database in your results. We keep all horses' DNA records on file to ensure that if a match for sire and/or dam emerges in the future (as opposed to the time of testing) we will promptly notify you.

Mail us 30 of your horse's mane and/or tail hairs (pulled, not cut) along with the DNA Sample Submission Form.
3. We will analyze sample
Our accredited laboratory will analyze your horse's DNA sample.
4. Receive your comprehensive DNA reports
Within two weeks of our lab receiving your sample, personalized DNA reports of your horse and breed certificate will be e-mailed to you.

"Hey there, just wanted to share my recent experience with the breed DNA test for my brumby that I adopted. Found out he's got quite a mix of breeds and influence from a few different breeds. I loved learning about the breeds and can say my gelding's temperament matches what was listed for each breed.
The parentage and registry search was a nice touch – although no matches were found (which I was expecting since he's a Brumby!), they're hanging onto his DNA in case of future matches which is pretty darn cool.
